Job Title: 2nd Shift Welding Supervisor

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Pay: $28 – $35 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced 2nd Shift Welding Supervisors to oversee welding operations at our Milwaukee, WI facility. This role ensures high-quality welding production, maintains safety standards, and leads a team of welders to meet production goals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on welding experience, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate welding operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Lead, train, and mentor welders to maintain high-performance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with welding procedures, blueprints, and industry specifications.
  • Monitor production schedules and allocate resources to meet deadlines.
  • Conduct quality inspections and troubleshoot welding issues as needed.
  • Enforce safety protocols, including PPE use and OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain production reports and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and other departments to optimize workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of welding supervision or lead experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Certifications: AWS certification preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of MIG, TIG, and other welding techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
