Job Title: Stand-Up Forklift Operator (Freezer)

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Pay Rate: $19+ per hour (based on experience)

Shifts Available:

  • 1st Shift
  • 2nd Shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled Stand-Up Forklift Operators to work in our freezer warehouse in Milwaukee, WI. This role involves operating a stand-up forklift to move, load, and unload products while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate has experience working in cold storage and is comfortable operating equipment in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently in a freezer environment.
  • Load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
  • Organize and stack pallets according to inventory procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and forklift inspections.
  • Follow safety protocols, including proper handling of frozen goods and PPE usage.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance issues.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1+ years of stand-up forklift experience (freezer/cold storage preferred).
  • Certifications: Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to work in freezer temperatures (-10°F to 32°F) for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills.
