Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in Milwaukee, WI. The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts. Candidates must have experience in machining processes, understand blueprints and technical drawings, and be able to perform quality checks on finished products. All shifts are available, offering flexibility to choose a shift that suits your lifestyle.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, or grinders) according to job specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate part production.
- Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or issues and make adjustments as necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure smooth operation.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery or programming.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Document production activities, noting any issues or deviations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in CNC machining is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience operating CNC machines (milling, turning, grinding).
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, including cutting speeds, feed rates, and tool changes.
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Knowledge of G-code programming is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift).
