Pay Range: $24-$32

8:30am-5pm

Job description

A growing property management firm, is seeking a full-time maintenance technician to join our team. In general, hours will be during regular business hours.
Responsibilities:

• Provide service and maintenance for all common amenities.
• Complete work orders in a timely and accurate manner, detailing actions taken.
• Be on call on a shared rotating basis for off-hour emergency call-ins (such as fire alarms, snowstorms, floods, power failure, etc.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Inspection and pick up of grounds each morning.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of skilled trades (plumbing, carpentry, electrical, lighting, & appliance repairs).
• Must be flexible and able to shift priorities if needed.
• 2 years maintenance experience.
• Physical requirements include being able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders and stairs, walk between buildings and on roofs, stoop, kneel, and bend as well as have hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Must have strong communication and people management skills to deal effectively with a wide variety of individuals and personalities (team members, guests, vendors, etc.); sometimes must maintain professionalism and respect while dealing with difficult situations.
• Knowledge of basic building maintenance procedures.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Valid driver’s license and state mandated level of automobile insurance
• Property management, hotel or restaurant background experience is a plus.
• Pool certification is highly desirable but not necessary
