Shifts Available: 1st and 2nd Shift

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems according to specifications and quality standards. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly: Assemble mechanical components and systems using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments according to blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, including any modifications or issues encountered during assembly.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements in assembly processes.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality in the assembly process.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a similar role preferred.
  • Strong mechanical skills and understanding of assembly techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints and schematics.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
