Mechanical Assembler & Upholsterer (1st Shift)

Location: Menomonee Falls, WI
Pay: $18 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Mechanical Assembler & Upholsterer to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical components, upholstering products, and ensuring quality standards are met. This role requires hands-on work with tools, materials, and machinery to complete the production process efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical components according to blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
  • Perform upholstery tasks, including cutting, stapling, and attaching fabric or leather to frames.
  • Use hand and power tools to secure materials and fasteners.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production needs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly, upholstery, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical drawings.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
