Job Description:
We are seeking skilled MIG and TIG Welders to join our team in Butler, WI. As a welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components using MIG and TIG processes to produce high-quality parts and assemblies. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced welders who are looking for a stable, full-time position with a company that values craftsmanship and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metals (steel, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.) to meet production specifications and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
- Set up and operate welding machines and equipment, ensuring proper adjustments for each job.
- Inspect welds for quality, ensuring that they meet strength and appearance standards.
- Measure and cut materials to size using various tools and equipment, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders.
- Perform regular maintenance on welding equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
- Document completed work and report on material usage, production output, and any issues that arise.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and industry safety regulations (OSHA, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a MIG and TIG Welder (2+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques, with the ability to work with a variety of materials.
- Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications.
- Strong knowledge of welding equipment, tools, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and meet production goals.
- High attention to detail and strong focus on quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Certification in welding (e.g., AWS or other recognized certifications) is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in welding is a plus.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
