Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor for the 3rd Shift is responsible for overseeing the daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining quality standards, safety protocols, and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and supervise 3rd shift production team members to meet daily/weekly production targets.
  • Ensure safety standards are met and maintained, identifying and resolving any safety concerns.
  • Monitor the production process and workflow to optimize efficiency and output.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to production employees.
  • Collaborate with other departments (quality control, maintenance, etc.) to resolve production issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate production records, reports, and metrics.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure preventive maintenance is conducted on schedule.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Work with HR and management for staffing, scheduling, and resolving personnel issues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, safety protocols, and quality control.
  • Ability to manage a team effectively, demonstrating strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work the 3rd shift schedule consistently.
