Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team in Milwaukee, WI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to motivate a team, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to enhance team capabilities.
  • Production Management: Oversee daily production activities to ensure that production goals are met while adhering to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor production processes and product quality, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Address any quality issues promptly.
  • Scheduling: Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct safety training and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure smooth operations and address any operational challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and quality control principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using manufacturing software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive operational improvements.
