Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: Greater Milwaukee Area
Pay Rate: $16-20/hour
Shifts Available: 1st and 2nd Shifts

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality of materials and finished products, identifying process improvements, and maintaining quality standards throughout the production process. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. Opportunities for both 1st and 2nd shifts are available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to assess product dimensions and features.
  • Needs blueprints.
  • Document and report non-conformance issues and collaborate with production teams to resolve defects.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company policies.
  • Perform routine audits on production processes and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough records of inspections, test results, and audits.
  • Assist in preparing reports and summaries for quality-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
  • 1+ years of experience in a quality technician or related role, preferably in manufacturing or production.
  • Proficient with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and Lean Manufacturing principles is an advantage.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work on 1st or 2nd shift as needed.
