Pay Rate: $18.85 per hour

Job Title: Receiving Lead
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Pay Rate: $18.85 per hour
Shifts: 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm with potential overtime)

Position Overview:
Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming goods to verify receipt against packing slips and enters receipts into the ERP system.

Responsibilities:

  • Check and verify product according to the packing slips
  • Log, verify, and receive UPS packages
  • Document any missing or damaged products at delivery
  • Unload inbound shipments
  • Timely and accurate entry of receipts into the ERP system
  • Help maintain MSDS standards
  • Communicate with Purchasing regarding any missing documentation from deliveries
  • Coordinate with Purchasing on materials needed in production
  • Generate purchasing requisitions as needed
  • Label and store product while utilizing the FIFO process
  • Put items away in the warehouse and document quantity and location of inventory in the inventory management system
  • Assist shipping when needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with 2 years consecutive experience in Shipping & Receiving
  • Successful completion of forklift driver certification per company policy
  • Experience in a lead position
  • Good communication and motivational skills
  • Demonstrated ability in basic mathematical computations required to complete shipping documents
  • Ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds from ground level to chest height, push/pull up to 100 pounds
  • Demonstrated ability to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions
  • Demonstrated analytical/problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Valid Driver’s License.
