Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SMT Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining SMT equipment, ensuring efficient production of electronic components while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor SMT machines (pick-and-place, stencil printers, reflow ovens, etc.).
  • Load and inspect components to ensure proper placement and orientation.
  • Perform quality checks to identify misaligned or defective components.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust machine settings as needed.
  • Follow work instructions, blueprints, and production guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Conduct basic machine maintenance and cleaning.
  • Work collaboratively with production teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating SMT equipment in an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of PCB assembly processes and electronic components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
  • Basic troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
