The Core Room Manufacturing position performs various procedures, using specific tools and material, to prepare manufactured sand cores for mold production in a safe, efficient, and quality manner
What You’ll Do:Per written process directions, receives and prepares core for fitting in the core room area.
Using tools, such as, hand files, scrapers, sandpaper, filters, trowels, and mud prepares the core for production.
Upon preparing the core, core coatings are applied per process guidelines.
Shall run cores through the core oven per the process card.
The fitted core is then tagged and forwarded to core storage or to the molding floor for production.
Additional duties as may be required.

What We Need From You:Associate will take place in training program.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to stand, bend, twist, kneel, walk for 10+ hours.
Ability to push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in an extreme hot environment.
Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
Ability to pass respirator fit test and align with requirements when working in regulated areas.
