The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for eliminating waste in manufacturing processes and improving workflows. This position is responsible for identifying delays in production and sources of waste, then refining current systems using technology and engineering principles.  The responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer will include but not be limited to:

·         Establish detailed manpower requirements, such as work centers, crew type, etc.

·         Collect, analyze, validate, document, and maintain manufacturing data, such as workloads, capacity planning, manpower, equipment, footprint layouts, etc.

·         Analyze and establish standard production times and quality levels, and ensure they are achieved

·         Optimize, establish, and organize work centers for material flow and ergonomics

·         Review production routings

·         Identify and participate in continuous improvement events

·         Evaluate quality control processes, schedules, methods, and other data

·         Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

·         Familiarity of CNC machine programming

·         Proficiency in tooling design to include fixturing/tooling, go/no-go gauges, and poke-yoke devices to improve productivity, safety, and quality

·         Ability to estimate manufacturing costs including labor time, setup time, and material costs in support of new product introduction.

·         Familiarity using ERP systems

·         Ability to create and interpret a variety of manufacturing reports

Salary:  $100,000 per year based on experience
