Large Manufacturing Company in the Greater Milwaukee Area is seeking an Assistant Business Manager. This is a temp to hire opportunity. 90 days with a pay increase upon permanent hire.
The Office Manager plans and manages financial, AR & AP, inventory, human resource, and administrative functions of the business. Office Manager is in charge of audits and financial controls. Will oversee Company information support services, freight carriers, data collection/document management, record retention, management reporting, copiers and telephone. Maintain the employee manual, operating manual and other documents dealing with Company standards, plans and procedures.
Responsibilities:Oversees financial planning, AR/AP and reporting functions
Manages the Human Resources function, including recruiting, temporary help, pay rates, payroll, benefit administration; oversees Employee and Operations Manuals.
Negotiates, monitors and maintains benefits and insurance programs
Coordinates copiers, telephone, Internet/email and service providers
Coordinates compliance with employment laws and agencies
Oversees records, document management and report preparation for production/office and retention
Oversees inventory accuracy, monitors high dollar and long lead time part purchases, contract pricing, supplier discounts, quotes and blanket orders; facilitates returns; and resolves supplier issues, and searches hard to find parts.
Strong background in Manufacturing is required
$21.00 plus—Based on experience
Hours M-F 8am – 4:30 pm
At least 4 years experience
Bilingual is a plus
