Understand powder metallurgy process along with knowledge of product processing and compact / coining tooling such as fit, form and function.
Ability to read and follow detailed instructions on routine tasks. Perform mathematical computations using decimals and fractions. Legible penmanship and accurate completion of reports, charts, and other documents
Diagnose and remedy equipment issues or die/tooling malfunctions including robotics, conveyers and other automation.

ESSENTIAL Functions:Demonstrates full knowledge on press, secondary operations and automation operations
Accurately reports tool damage.
Inspect, clean and prepare all required tooling for compact and coining
Proves ability on installing compact and coining tools
Proves basic knowledge on making machine adjustments.
Ability to read and interpret POS, MOP and SOP and be able to apply to drawings, prints and tool stack sheets
Knowledge on inspection procedures, use of standard/special precision measurement instruments, and test equipment.
Ability to determine product weight and density in accordance with specified methods.
Demonstrates full ability to disassemble, assemble, align and secure tooling in compact and coiners
Inspect first-run parts, checking weight and density, dimensions, shape and contour with precision instruments.
Ability to adjust compact presses and sinter furnace robots to meet quality requirements
Perform automatous maintenance task as required.
Understand basic problem solving skills to identify root causes
Complete Practical Problem Solving (PPS) training and use training to ensure all processes are working properly; quality standards and production rates are met.
Participates in validation of new programs. Recommends tooling arrangements, fixtures and continuous improvement.
Inspect parts and analysis results to give recommendations.
