In this position, you would have the opportunity to develop your own sales territory by maintaining relationships with current customers and bringing in new ones to drive business. You will be an ambassador and a trusted face to both members and customers while also adhering to company values and policy. As a member of our team, you will use your strong interpersonal, relationship building skills to provide service and support to your customers as needed, which may include coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Achieve and exceed sales quotas within assigned territory.
Create and implement a sales strategy that makes sure you meet personal sales goals, as well as those set-in place
Build and maintain strategic relationships with assigned customers and target customers through sales calls, participation in events, customer entertainment, etc.
Communicate with current and potential customers on a regular basis, promoting products and services, providing solutions as needed, and oversee all sales activity in your assigned sales territory.
Assess and manage sales funnel to drive sales attainment and planning accuracy.
Identify and forecast opportunities.
Present quotes to customers.
Develop and present product deals, promotions and contracts/agreements as appropriate for each customer.
Develop and execute performance objectives and KPIs to ensure achievement of sales goals in assigned territory.
Document customer contact and needs.
Develop and maintain a proactive calendar that meets customer and company needs; focusing actions to meet established goals.
Accurately utilize sales tools to maintain customer information, sales activities and required data.
Proactively complete and update documentation.
Submit reports on your sales activity regularly into the company’s CRM software, and maintain clean and updated records for all leads and customers.
Present a professional image that aligns with company and customer expectations.
Assist with identifying prospects while continuing to refine and build existing target customer list; focusing sales efforts on these targets.
Coordinating sales efforts with other company stakeholders including, Marketing, Purchasing, Accounting, Transportation and Warehouse, to maximize benefits membership.
Coordinate with other members of the sales team and team leaders as needed to generate sales and provide excellent customer service.
Adhere to all company procedures, values and policies so that you provide an accurate representation of the cooperative to all potential and current customers.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
Perform your duties as efficiently as possible, reducing costs when possible, and maintain receipts for all job-related expenses and submit them to accounting.
Bachelor Degree with Business/Marketing emphasis preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
Experience in consultative selling.
Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
A commitment to excellent customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
Strong organizational skills
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Able to work comfortably in a dynamic environment.
This will be a direct hire, in partnership with WFA Staffing assisting in recruiting efforts.
Ideal candidate will be bilingual speaking English and Spanish.
Compensation will be a combination of agreed salary, with commission opportunities as well.
$50,000-$65,000 to start on the base salary, plus commissions.
