Milwaukee based manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Control Technician to help us achieve high levels of quality and product performance.  Primary responsibilities include performing visual and dimensional testing on incoming packaging components, conducting quality control testing on incoming raw materials and finished batch mixes, and inspecting production functions to ensure that they meet company’s standards and specifications.

 

The successful applicant will be required to: input chemical and test results into a computer based program in an accurate and efficient manner, create and prepare Certificate of Analysis (COA) for customers, verify and document specialty outbound product, review and audit filling and mixing operations, calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and performing various analysis of finished goods and raw materials.

 

In addition, this position performs sampling and testing as directed and assists other team members on routine duties including water and environmental testing.

 

The ideal candidate will have a two-year Associates degree in a scientific field and/or 2-5 years of working experience, a competency with basic computer programs (word processing, spreadsheet, email) in addition to have a working knowledge with ERP systems and possess strong math skills.

 

This role requires peerless attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, good written and verbal communication skills, ability to be work alone and within a group and have excellent organizational skills.

 

Must have a valid driver’s license, insurance and be able to travel between plant locations.
