Mechanical/Electrical Assembler – 1st & 2nd Shift

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Mechanical/Electrical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical components and sub-assemblies according to blueprints, electrical schematics, work instructions, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience using hand and power tools, and the ability to read basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components, parts, and sub-assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Install and connect electrical components, wiring, cables, and hardware.
• Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and other assembly equipment.
• Measure, align, and adjust components to ensure proper fit and function.
• Perform basic electrical and mechanical testing of completed assemblies.
• Inspect components and finished assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Identify defective or incorrect parts and report issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow detailed work instructions and production procedures.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Work closely with other departments and team members to meet production schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
