Roberta Murphy Bio

A member of the team for 19 years, Roberta brings an invaluable perspective to her
leadership role, as she has experienced the WFA process from both sides. She began
her career as a contract-to-hire employee, achieving permanent placement with a
distributor of Aveda Hair Care products. That placement proved the value of the right
candidate in the right position, as she was quickly and repeatedly promoted. In 2006,
she returned to work for WFA itself in an outside sales and recruiting role, where her
strong passion for learning, meeting new people, and listening to the needs of clients
made her a natural fit.

With calm professionalism, Roberta establishes strong relationships with hiring
managers and actively maintains those connections, helping clients stay abreast of their
current and future hiring needs in the face of changing business trends.
Roberta is an avid animal lover and loves spending as much time possible with her five-
year-old Black Labrador Retriever, Kong. Roberta and her husband enjoy getting
outdoors in the summer — swimming and boating in Washington County on Little Cedar
Lake and camping with friends in Townsend, WI.
