Brake Press Operator – 1st & 2nd Shift

Position: Brake Press Operator
Shifts: 1st & 2nd Shift
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Brake Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Brake Press Operator will set up and operate press brake machinery to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to blueprints, work instructions, and customer specifications.

The ideal candidate has experience operating a press brake, can read blueprints, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality parts.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate brake press equipment to bend and form metal components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Select and install appropriate tooling and dies.
  • Measure completed parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
  • Make adjustments to machine settings to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Inspect parts for quality, accuracy, and proper dimensions.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and keep equipment and work areas clean.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
  • Complete production paperwork and documentation accurately.
  • Meet production schedules and quality standards.
  • Work with other members of the manufacturing team to resolve production or quality issues.
