Job Title: Stand-Up Forklift Operator

Location: Milwaukee, WI
Pay Rate: $18+/hour
Shifts Available: All shifts

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating stand-up forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in our warehouse. This role requires attention to safety and efficiency while ensuring that products are handled properly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Forklift Operation: Safely operate a stand-up forklift to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control by loading and unloading trucks, stacking and organizing merchandise, and conducting regular inventory counts.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Quality Control: Inspect products and equipment for quality assurance and report any issues to supervisors.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift and report any maintenance needs or malfunctions.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience operating stand-up forklifts is required; certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform warehouse tasks as needed.
