Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our manufacturing team in Sturtevant, WI. The Welder will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to blueprints, work instructions, and production specifications.

The ideal candidate has previous MIG welding and fabrication experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel and other metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
• Set up and operate welding equipment and related tools.
• Prepare, fit, and position parts prior to welding.
• Inspect welds and finished components for quality and accuracy.
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
• Grind, clean, and finish welded components as required.
• Make adjustments to welding equipment and settings as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards.
• Work effectively with other members of the manufacturing and fabrication team.
