Shifts: All shifts available (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)
Job Description:
We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join our dynamic team in the Milwaukee/Waukesha/Hartford/Richfield, WI area. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong machining background who are looking for a challenging and rewarding role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mill, lathe, and/or other specialized equipment) to produce parts to exact specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
- Program CNC machines using software (e.g., G-code, CAM programs) to produce precise parts.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Adjust machine settings, speeds, and feeds to optimize production and ensure consistent part quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues with CNC machines to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to ensure production goals are met.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist (minimum of 2 years preferred).
- Strong understanding of CNC machine operations (lathe, mill, or both).
- Experience with programming, reading blueprints, and using measurement tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and tooling.
- Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in machining is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
