Pay Rate: $23.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Production Lead to join our manufacturing team in Brown Deer, WI. The Production Lead will provide hands-on leadership and direction to production employees while helping ensure daily production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.

The ideal candidate has previous manufacturing experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to keep a production team organized and productive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direction and leadership to production employees.
• Assign work and coordinate daily production activities.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure work is completed on time.
• Train and assist employees with production processes and procedures.
• Monitor productivity, quality, safety, and attendance.
• Help troubleshoot production issues and identify solutions.
• Ensure employees follow standard work instructions and company procedures.
• Inspect work and assist with quality control to ensure products meet specifications.
• Communicate production issues, delays, and staffing needs to management.
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
• Assist with machine setups, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting as needed.
• Track production and maintain required paperwork and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S initiatives.
• Help resolve minor employee issues and escalate concerns when appropriate.
• Lead by example and promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
• Perform hands-on production work as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
