Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Set up welding equipment, including selecting appropriate welding tools and ensuring proper gas flow and wire feed.
• Fabricate and assemble metal components or structures by welding parts together.
• Conduct quality inspections of welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning.
• Adhere to safety procedures and practices at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Welder, with proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in welding tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Prior experience with welding equipment maintenance is a plus.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
