Job Title: Brake Press Operator
Location: West Bend, WI
Shift: 2nd and 3rd Shift Available
Pay Rate: $19.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator to join our team in West Bend. This position is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading skills, and experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC and/or manual press brake machines

  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings

  • Select proper tooling and make machine adjustments as needed

  • Perform first-piece inspections and ensure parts meet quality standards

  • Measure finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures

  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report maintenance needs

  • Maintain production efficiency and meet daily quotas

  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications

  • Previous press brake operation experience preferred

  • Ability to read blueprints and understand bend allowances

  • Strong math and measurement skills

  • Experience with CNC controls is a plus

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Ability to stand for extended periods

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
