Die Cast Technician

Location: Milwaukee, WI
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $21.77 per hour

Position Summary

The Die Cast Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining die casting machines to produce high-quality parts in a safe and efficient manner. This role supports production goals by ensuring proper machine setup, consistent operation, and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate die casting machines according to work instructions and safety guidelines

  • Load and unload parts from machines and perform basic inspections

  • Monitor machine performance and report issues or defects

  • Perform routine maintenance and assist with die changes as needed

  • Trim, grind, or finish cast parts as required

  • Maintain clean and organized work areas

  • Accurately complete production and quality documentation

  • Follow all safety, OSHA, and company policies

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred

  • Die casting experience a plus, but training may be provided

  • Ability to read work instructions and use basic measuring tools

  • Strong attention to detail and quality

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

  • Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team
