Company Overview:
We are a leading manufacturing company in Milwaukee, WI, specializing in injection molding. We are currently seeking a skilled Processing Technician to join our team for the 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, extensive knowledge of injection molding principles, and the ability to work independently or within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Start up all down machines and ensure proper operation.
  • Attend and actively participate in technical meetings.
  • Perform housekeeping tasks and maintain proper storage of equipment and supplies.
  • Check process parameters and ensure all alarms are active.
  • Submit first pieces to the Quality Lab and complete material changes.
  • Provide troubleshooting support to production group to correct problems.
  • Act as a liaison between Production and Process Engineering departments.

Essential Functions:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and make recommendations for processing issues.
  • Start up presses after changes, repairs, or other reasons.
  • Work with Industrial Engineering team to ensure proper documentation of process sheets.
  • Maintain certifications by supporting corporate policies and procedures.

Other Functions:

  • Attend and successfully complete forklift training.
  • Evaluate current state processing conditions and recommend improvement plans.
  • Develop procedures for production-related duties for reference/training.
  • Assist in maintaining audit preparedness for internal and external audits.

Success in this Role Requires:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience as a Process Technician preferred.
  • Pursuit of advanced education in injection molding principles.

What You’ll Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Process Technician preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. and stand/walk for 12 hours.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and knowledge of SPC principles.
