Job Title: Assembly Service Technician
Location: Milwaukee
Pay Rate: $28–$34 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and servicing mechanical and electromechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, and the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues both in the shop and occasionally in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components according to blueprints and work instructions
  • Test equipment to ensure proper operation and performance
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical issues during assembly or service
  • Perform preventative maintenance and service on equipment
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
  • Document service work, repairs, and completed assemblies
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures
  • Provide technical support to customers or internal teams as needed

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of mechanical assembly or service technician experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Basic electrical knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing or shop environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
