Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Upholsterer to join our team. This position is responsible for upholstering furniture or other products by applying padding, fabric, vinyl, or leather using hand tools and industrial sewing equipment. The ideal candidate has strong craftsmanship skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Upholster furniture or components using fabric, vinyl, leather, or other materials
  • Measure, cut, and attach materials according to specifications or patterns
  • Remove old upholstery and prepare surfaces for new materials
  • Use hand tools, staple guns, and industrial sewing machines as needed
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality and appearance standards are met
  • Follow work instructions and production schedules
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Previous upholstery or sewing experience preferred
  • Ability to measure, cut, and work with various materials
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Ability to use hand tools and basic shop equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
